Business and conference facilities

Havana Airport does not feature any conference facilities. There are however two VIP lounges located in Terminal 3’s Arrivals and Departures, and these can be reached via telephone numbers (07) 642 6225 or (07) 649 0071. The said lounges are equipped with essentials like private rooms, press rooms, and photocopying, internet access, fax and telephone. Also available are a variety of refreshments and snacks.

Shopping

The airport has a variety of shops in all of its terminals for the visitors’ convenience and they include tobacconists, newsagents, bookshops, and off-licence and duty-free shopping. There is also a pharmacy at the airport.

Eating and drinking

At Havana Airport the chances of you enduring a grumbling stomach are next to nil because there are plenty of restaurants and bars all over the place. The next good thing about this is that these outlets remain open 24hrs a day.

About money and communications

You need not worry about how you’ll communicate with loved ones and other contacts around the world because internet services are provided here. For all your money requirements you can always use the bank and bureaux de change here – they are conveniently open 24hrs a day too.

For the disabled

Disabled persons are thoroughly catered for at this Cuban gateway. At the Arrivals and Departures departments there are a total of four lifts, two per department, and from the same departments it is possible to secure wheelchair transportation to the required aeroplane. It is preferred that persons who require wheelchairs and other forms of special assistance make prior arrangements before travelling here.

Hotels and accommodation

The airport doesn’t have on-site hotels and therefore accommodations are sought either at the nearby resorts or at the hotels in the Havana city centre. Visitors are advised to make prior hotel bookings so that they can be picked up from the airport on arrival.

For luggage

There are no lockers at the airport but the lost and found office will be of much help.
